Vampire Sim not drinking autonomously

Yeah, that's super weird. If there are plasma packs in their inventory, they'll drink them autonomously.  Sometimes they stand around and complete whatever other task they were doing, though, and I'll have to be like, "No, Caleb, don't chat with Rando McRanderson, drink a plasma pack." 😉  Also they often get very thirsty at work.

There used to be a bug where they wouldn't drink plasma packs made out of fish or frogs autonomously but would drink the ones they buy off the internet just fine, but they fixed that.

How long are you waiting for them to drink?

I’ve been making the vampires drink manually for about three generations, it’s exhausting! I haven’t tried making my own plasma, so I can give that a go tonight, but the Sims will get down to the red-bar-of-desperation and still not drink, both from their inventory and also from a table I tried to place the packs on. I feel like there must be something I need to turn off or delete on my Mac that’s somehow causing a bug, but there is nothing online…

Do you play with autonomy on? 

Really, this is just super-weird to me.  I remember watching my vampire decide to autonomously guzzle several plasma packs when her thirst was very low green and being like, "Really?" because usually they only drink one.
