Why Can't I Place Anything From My Inventory?

Hi there @Super_Abi_09 in order to get you some assistance from the right place could you tell us some more about your platform? So are you on PC with mods or CC/PlayStation or Xbox?

This is currently working for me on Xbox Series X. Once we know what your platform is we might be able to get you some advice.

Omg this is also happening to me, anything I try place into the world from my inventory it immediately retracts, I've tried closing my game and everything I thought it was only me 

@jjessl What platform are you on? If non-console, do you use mods?  If so, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)

@Trimoth Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
