Will not load since downloading Adventure Awaits DLC

So i bought and downloaded adventure awaits. game was working perfectly fine before hand. after downloading and installing the dlc my game now stays stuck on a endless inital loading screen never get...

Hate to say this but this is the beginning of the end. It happened in Sims 3, the last expansion broke the game, and instead of fixing it they came out with Sims 4. I’m going to guess we get a Sims 5 announcement soon :/.
