Yellow skin bug

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know.
What happens when the bug occurs? When a child sim that's born during my current save ages up, they become a yellow mannequin doll and I won't be able to edit them anymore.
What do you expect to see? When a sim ages up to a teen, they should look "normal" instead of yellow mannequins.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes

I have this issue where a child sim that's born during my current save ages up, they become a yellow mannequin doll and I won't be able to edit them anymore. I use some mods and have tried to fix it by these instructions but won't be able.

Does anyone have any recommendations what should I try? The yellow skin still appears when I don't use any mods or cc... I'm afraid I have to quit my favourite saves because of this. :,(

The sim in the picture is supposed to look like Alexander Goth but unfortunately he looks very yellow. :,)
