Build mode on console (xbox series x) items will stop rotating, and I will not be able to rotate again until game is completely exited to Xbox dashboard. Already made a post including this issue and was told that it may already be open. I found the post, but it’s for PLAYSTATION. I am on Xbox and having the issue so I’m making the post again.

Hi @lyndseynicole09,

Do you also have issues with RB and LB not changing the time in Live Mode, or is this only affecting rotation with objects in Build Mode?

I’ve had that happen with the time maybe 2-3 times, but that’s it and it was last year, I believe. It hadn’t happened since so I had assumed it got fixed in a patch at some point. It mainly seems to only happen when I try to rotate the items, after being in build mode after about 5-10 minutes. It used to not happen as frequent, but it seems within the last few months it happens every time now.

Gotchya, have you tried a full uninstall and reinstall of The Sims to see if that clears this issue up?

@EA_Solaire No I haven’t, I recently moved and the internet here is 20x worse than what I had before. A week or so back, it took 6 hours just to install an update for call of duty that was barely 1.5gb. Unfortunately I own the base game digitally and not physically, so I would have to install over wifi. I might give it a try, but ive been trying to avoid that because I am scared of the possibility of a 6-24hr reinstall time lol 😂.

UPDATE: no issue the few times I’ve played. If I see it arise again in the future I’ll make another post but for now I think it’s good. Thank y’all for the help 🙂
Updating now- I’ll reply again or edit this one when it’s complete and I can give it a go (about an hr, it’s actually updating faster than usual!).
