Cannot save game/Crash

Since today's update, when i try to save my game, it crashes instead of saving after company comes over.  It happens even if someone comes to the lot without a sim inviting them. There have been interactions between sims present that shouldn't be there. For instance to "ask if single" or "pickup line" although they are in a relationship. (have noticed this with teen sims) Their relationship panel will show "promised" but that they are "just good friends" also.
