Do I have to install expansions in order?

I'm playing on Sony PS4 and only have the base game so far. I wanna get a new one but will I be able to get e.g magic realm first and then something that was released earlier and have everything available then or would something stuff up? Thanks 

PS I dont mind if i wont have everything available if i just get one expansion but once I get them all later will i miss out on any content?
