I’ve been experiencing this bug since the update patch was installed. Reinitialised the PS4 Pro, restored licences, reinstalled The Sims 4 along with its update patch and any DLCs (Holiday Celebrations Free Stuff Pack, Grim’s Ghoulish Guitar Free Stuff Pack, Birthday Surprise Free Stuff Pack) and the issue persists.

No other issues exist.

Check disc, disc is dust free. Power off the console, wait for 5-10 minutes, rebuild database, restart PS4, load up the game again. Same issue persist. Faulty update patch. Reinstalled the game and update patch, issue still present. Indefinitely faulty patch. Please correct this issue.

    @PoptartJuniper Cheers. Thanks for voicing your concern about my game saves but I’ve backed everything up since 1999 as far as my game saves are concerned, as I still have my old PS1 saves and PC saves backed up. In fact, I have my city file from SimCity 3000 and my objects from The Sims 1. Let’s just say my entire life is backed up safely. I’m grateful for your concern though. 😊

      @WarrenKWoodhouse I meant share your affected saves Sims 4 with the QA team as indicated on the first post of the thread.

      I too always back everything up. I think as a longtime console player, it's just habit to back my saves up. I have too many bad memories of lost saves.

        @PoptartJuniper I haven’t got any corrupted saves and many of my save files are backed up prior to the faulty update patch. I don’t even use cheats, so I sincerely doubt that my saves are causing the issue. I’ll be posting my save files at some point this year to a private GitHub repository on my GitHub account, so I’ll definitely provide a copy of the file to you guys shortly after that. Is that ok?
