My game is still crashing and it would be nice for a reply from EA or a fix.
My game has been crashing for 2 weeks now and no resolve. They want me to create another account and start over....which would defeat the purpose of playing all together. Hopefully you will have better luck they have not offered me any sensible solutions.

I understand your frustration this issue has been on going for me since late November of 2019.
Have you tried to make a new save of your current game on a new slot? Then delete the previous save? That helped a little for myself but nothing has effectively fixed the issue many of us are experiencing.
Do you use cheat codes too?
As ive noticed the issue seems to happen after I've entered the cheat codes too
EA Need to find a resolution ASAP this has gone on for too long I'm now debating to take this Into a civil matter due to amount that has been spent it's beyond a joke.

If you do I will second that. They need to fix this like they want to keep our business. Instead of creating new expansion packs they to fix the ones they have.

I know I’m late BUT since Xbox players are being told to create new profiles and start over, I’ll say that I did that and you will eventually run into the same issues, so don’t waste your time. It is fine for a while but once the first generation kids get to about teenager, it happened again. Crashes on home lot only. I’ve moved, built an entirely new house, tried different worlds. Nothing matters. I can do get to work jobs, I can go on vacation, but I can’t exit on a home lot and I can’t travel consistently off of the home lot. I can tell some work has been done because it isn’t doing it everywhere, but it can’t handle being at home. I can make beautiful exquisite builds on Xbox but the game can’t handle it, so minimalistic is my sims new way. I even made a generic lot and put all our extra things like collectibles, pictures, and basic storage stuff. I’ve emptied inventories, not build with moo, I’ve uninstalled/ reinstalled, deleted saves and re-saved, deleted profiles. Final step started a whole new profile. Nothing matters. The game will eventually start crashing for everyone playing on Xbox 1 regardless of how they play or what they do. There is no solution on our end. It’s a coding issue and it seems to be related to memory. If EA or maxis or whoever built their games right before release, this wouldn’t be an issue. They build backwards. They throw out the game with the minimum where it’s barely a game and add to it as they go, which then makes the game too big for the systems to handle without having a desktop from Mars built in 2050, and it throws the coding off. The game will always become unplayable. You can only throw out subpar products for so long before people quit trying. I’m there. Others will be too. I won’t be purchasing Sims 5.I’ve been a fan since sims 1 was released, but I know waaaay too much about the inner workings of this game and troubleshooting than I should ever need to know. Eventually, another company that can code will pick this idea up and actually make a playable game. As far as I’m concerned the sims was nothing but a great idea that never came to full fruition since it is unplayable. Just wanted to let people know that are “troubleshooting” their game, spending hours trying to get back hours of gameplay. I’m not saying not to do it because you never know. It may help this time. I’m just saying eventually just expect it to be unplayable. Rip sims.

Yeah I am done to. I haven't played in weeks. Eventually more people will stop playing. I will not buy Sims 5 either. I will wait until someone else comes out with an life simulator game hopefully one day. I wish developers that know what they are doing would come out with their version of life simulator game. But this is done.
