@PoptartJuniper Hi, yeah I was unsure about the graphics message being linked so I'd posted that separately and on here about the crashing. I've already looked at the other feeds for info and the crashing is now twice per game. Seems I'm spending hours on here lol running down bugs, counted over 40 issues in my game right now. We must keep you pretty busy and thanks for your help.
@helenajade863 I agree with your sentiments exactly, I'd improved gameplay and stability quite a bit by switching up to a next gen Xbox so now it's crashing again despite that expense and it's beyond annoying. Of all the bugs, the crashing is the worst in my opinion.

@simsplayer818 When i upgraded my console it does allow me to build without crashing but as soon as it go to play in a house hold that's where the issues start. If you use cheats aswel then that might be making the issue worse. When I use them in build mode within 5mins the crash occurs but without them I can build a full house without a crash
- simsplayer8184 years agoHero@helenajade863 Hey there, nope I'm not using cheats. I've noticed it's much worse in San Myshuno. Living in Uptown my Sim can't travel to the gym without crashing. I tried saving the game first last night and then just Exit but it still crashed to home page. It's so frustrating to have this bug return to my game once again because of an update, disappointing to say the least. I have most packs except for Eco Living and the spooky/vampire packs. I was considering Eco Living but I think I'll hold off on that rather than throw good money after bad. Fingers crossed this gets noticed and patched soon!🤞

- simsplayer8184 years agoHero@PoptartJuniper Hey there, yes I'm on that thread now too. I've not visited Henford on this particular game, I'm mostly going from City Living areas to Snowy Escape areas but do have numerous bugs associated with cottage living. I've actually just listed them all out bugs/suspected bugs just for myself to keep track of and yikers, my list is pretty long.
- 4 years ago@simsplayer818 Have you ever used them before? Prior to updating my console I found that removing family's from lots even base game family's then making a new save once there is no sims living in the village your in... delete the other saved files so you only have one saved game then move a couple of family's back into the neighbourhood...I think when you have a lot of characters the game just can't keep up..... if you have ever used the move objects too on any houses remove them houses from the neighbourhood or if it will allow you load the houses and see if you have any items over lapping if you notice any remove them and save straight away ... I found these methods helpful to a certain extent but it won't fully fix the issue...also if you've built on a big plot remove them houses so any plot that's bigger than 40x40 that seems to be a big issue also when building bigger lots ... also have you downloaded any lots or family's from the community?
- simsplayer8184 years agoHero@helenajade863 No I've not used those. I used to use the library to download houses, but not Sims and then I liked to renovate the houses my way. I saved all my creations and Sims to my personal library and when my save was wiped by a bug I quickly put them all back from the library...but it led to huge issues with my game and soon I couldn't even so much as download a pre made room without an error code. So now I'm doing it all from scratch again. I had 200 Sims and 12 worlds at the time, all gone.
I move most of my played Sims over to Other Households once I move on. That can help with issues I find. The bigger lots can be problematic but on the Xbox series S they've been better so far. On my new console the library will probably be fine...but I dare not touch it. Photography caused a lot of issues with crashing too, so I'm still avoiding that. Microsoft were actually really helpful, one tech support guy took it on and spent ages trying to help. I even got follow up calls to see how it was going.
