@simsplayer818 Have you ever used them before? Prior to updating my console I found that removing family's from lots even base game family's then making a new save once there is no sims living in the village your in... delete the other saved files so you only have one saved game then move a couple of family's back into the neighbourhood...I think when you have a lot of characters the game just can't keep up..... if you have ever used the move objects too on any houses remove them houses from the neighbourhood or if it will allow you load the houses and see if you have any items over lapping if you notice any remove them and save straight away ... I found these methods helpful to a certain extent but it won't fully fix the issue...also if you've built on a big plot remove them houses so any plot that's bigger than 40x40 that seems to be a big issue also when building bigger lots ... also have you downloaded any lots or family's from the community?

@helenajade863 No I've not used those. I used to use the library to download houses, but not Sims and then I liked to renovate the houses my way. I saved all my creations and Sims to my personal library and when my save was wiped by a bug I quickly put them all back from the library...but it led to huge issues with my game and soon I couldn't even so much as download a pre made room without an error code. So now I'm doing it all from scratch again. I had 200 Sims and 12 worlds at the time, all gone.
I move most of my played Sims over to Other Households once I move on. That can help with issues I find. The bigger lots can be problematic but on the Xbox series S they've been better so far. On my new console the library will probably be fine...but I dare not touch it. Photography caused a lot of issues with crashing too, so I'm still avoiding that. Microsoft were actually really helpful, one tech support guy took it on and spent ages trying to help. I even got follow up calls to see how it was going.

- 4 years ago@simsplayer818 Ahhh fair enough me and a friend found after we downloaded the magic pack that's where are issues started but she liked to use the community builds once they were removed from her plots the issue settled abit. But for myself I literally can't play the story mode whatsoever. I do enjoy building more but it's pointless when we can't even play the game without crashes.
That's good you got someone that was willing to help you and gave you follow up calls.. I wasn't that lucky haha.. How many save files have you got? I personally believe that it's the players with alot of the expansion packs as another friend has only got a couple and they can play the game to the full potential but others that have serval packs seem to be the ones having this issue. I'm not sure if it's the system not being able to keep up as there is so many packs or if one of the packs are corrupt but either way it needs a fix ASAP - simsplayer8184 years agoHero@helenajade863 I've got 42 add-ons. I found a lot of issues started too after the kits came out, specifically with crashing before it became unplayable on my Xbox one S. The friend who has my old console now has loads of games on it and it works like a charm so it was just the Sims. The first time I spoke to Microsoft they weren't helpful but I was lucky with the next one. I discussed adding external memory but he was actually honest and said not to waste my money as it may not have helped.
The corruption issue I was getting was linked to the library and I run 2 game saves, one is a backup. Perhaps a new save without using the library at all might help your issue. Microsoft recommended a full reset and then downloading all packs again for the error codes and the crashing. This did help, but I still switched to the series S. - 4 years ago@simsplayer818 https://youtu.be/-t_GhyRqv_A I haven't tried this yet but it may help you
