Hey fellow PS4 Simmers.
This is the first time I've had crashes like this. Something they have changed this time (always seems to happen when they change too much) has affected the game in such a way that it just randomly crashes.
The other day I was playing it with the new patch.
First time it crashed I had already been playing for a couple of hours. I sent my Sim to my cat cafe (where no cats spawned) and it was fine until he tried to talk to this NPC. Then crash. I was like oh... That's random.
Second time it crashed was after restarting the game and loading it up, same household I decided that instead of going out I would work in his garden. A few minutes in crash! Hmmmmm
The third and last time it crashed was after playing for an hour and I decided to make a nightclub and I was in the middle of testing it and making changes and crash, losing all the little details I had tweaked. Ugh.
Now I have;
• Uninstalled the game from my PS4 Pro
• Downloaded and reinstalled the game again.
• Rebuilt the database
• Downloaded Snowy Escape.
I will try the game soon.
My final notes are this. For me the patch fixed a lot of things , my simulation lag seems to be lessened as Sims seemed snappier to respond to actions and interactions. They seemed much more alive making more decisions. Some of the fixes are QoL changes for the better so there is a lot of good in this patch. I just wish that these crashes are pinpointed soon.
