Game won’t let me I’m stuck on press x to start it won’t let me press x

Tysm I’m trying redownloading it now 

I've suffered with this problem multiple times 🙄 a couple of things I've done to get it to work is close the sims application down via the options button then wait a few minutes and load it up again and repeat this process until pressing X eventually works. If that still doesn't work when it gets to the "press X to play" screen wait on that screen for about five minutes and try pressing X again. Also having my controller plugged in and charging as you do it was a method I tried too. I can't guarantee it will work straight away though, once I was stuck with this problem for over two weeks and filed a bug report for it, but repeating those two methods got me into the game eventually. Really hope this helps, the pressing X and it doesn't work is the most frustrating problem I've ever encountered playing the sims, I feel your pain 😤
