Game won’t start

My game stopped working yesterday after saving and exiting the game. It gets to the beginning loading screen and then the game crashes. I have seen others with this problem in the last few hours so I know I’m not the only one.  I’ve found that the Island Living expansion pack is no longer available on PS Plus and I think this is the issue as I had it downloaded there but nothing I do is working. I have restarted my ps4, cold booted my ps4 as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game.  If this is what happens with DLCs they should not make them available for only a limited time; it causes all sorts of issues with the game once it is taken away and now I have lost an entire household/build. Does anyone have a solution for this?

    For the crashing issue you're seeing, this is currently being tracked in the open report here, please be sure to add your information into that thread as well as provide your save file as requested so we can investigate further. 

    For Island Living, this was recently removed from the PS Plus catalog, you'd need to fully purchase this pack in order to keep playing it- please see the thread here for more information on this.
