Grim Reaper won’t reap - Ps4

The grim reaper just stands around but doesn’t take the body and I don’t want to use any cheats because it will disable my trophies.

    @ktjsnzoqbbmt Is he playing on a phone or tablet? He's just done that to me. He just stood there tapping away and he wouldn't do anything.

    There is a bug thread here about the problem if you want to add your Me Too. There is an accepted cheat detailed at the start of the thread:

    I see you aren't keen on using cheats though so if you've recently saved your game you could do a hard restart and switch off then try again as I've had to do that before if something is stuck or frozen, but this time for me he stood around for quite a while and then after what felt like an age he finally did his job. He's never done that before. I didn't use the cheat because it was resolved for me eventually.

    I run a backup save which I save at the same time as my main save so they match, it's handy to have when something like this happens so you can switch saves.

@ktjsnzoqbbmt What I would do is add what happens to the bug report thread I linked on the first post and on the first page of the bug reports click Me Too.
I'd then avoid deaths for now until it's fixed. Because bug reports have been filed, that puts it on the game developers radar so they are aware of it and that means it should hopefully be fixed in an upcoming update. It's really unfortunate that when this happens we have to avoid repeating that action until it's fixed. I don't usually have deaths in my game, when a Sim dies I quickly revert to my back up save, but I just wanted the one Sim to die for my paranormal investigator Sim. It was such a sad moment as her fiancé died but then the drama was paused until the reaper stopped playing on his tablet!

If you want to add a full bug report yourself here's a bug template. You just need to copy it, click Reply on the bug thread on my first post and then paste it and fill in your own information. From the other bug reports you will see examples. I've filled in some of it for you already to start it off. If you can take a photo of the problem there is an option to attach an image, you sometimes have to crop it to reduce the file size before adding it. So I take a picture with my phone or tablet, crop it and then add it from my file storage.
