Unfortunately, it shut down again and said corruption. This is very frustrating.

Hope this helps.- Xemisa2World4 months agoRising Adventurer
@simsplayer818 Thank you for this information. I have a few questions before following these steps:
1.) What will happen to the Library and the cloud Gallery for the affected EA account? Will uploaded sims, families, creations, etc. and houses/rooms still be available? My main concern is being able to access previously saved creations.
2.) Can I reload a previously saved User Data (on USB from September, before any corruption) to fix this issue? Haven't attempted that yet because I don't know how that would affect the Rewards Events. I intended to write about what I did, but my game only worked for 1-3 hours before crashing again.
*What I tried already: I deleted the Autosave and all 10 save files and Library while keeping my current User Data (from October), then restored my previous data from USB, but I didn't overwrite the current User Data with my September save. Everything seemed to be working for a while, then it suddenly went to that blue screen.
3.) If I uninstall and reinstall, what happens to the Library and Gallery saved creations? What happens to Reaper's Rewards and Happy at Home Rewards?
4.) Can anyone specify what is contained within User Data? Where are the Rewards saved on console?
Thank you!
*This was what I tried that allowed game to work for a few hours before it crashed again.
- simsplayer8184 months agoHero@Xemisa2World You might get those technical answers from PlayStation support. I'm on Xbox Series X.
The Gallery wouldn't be affected as it's for all players. The Library is your personal content. As I've never carried out these steps on PS I can't speculate about the effects though. I previously played other Sims games on PS 1, 2 and 3.
It seems that different players do lose rewards with the Reaper Event so I wouldn't like to guarantee you'd get those rewards back. You should, but I couldn't say for certain.

The Mold Challenge and Off-the-Grid Challenge independently may be triggering this issue. I hope that can join a report for the Reaper's Rewards Event, at least on PS4. I am also speculating on whether or not some glitches related to the Reaper's Rewards are caused by For Rent or High School Years objects or features. Additionally, the newsletters or mailbox may have something to do with glitches during this Event.

@Xemisa2World there is an open bug report for Off Grid lots in our bugs section here:
I can't find an open bug report for the mold challenge with the exact problem you describe but you can start a new one in bug reports, here's the index for you.
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs
You might have done one before but if not, just select New Topic. It should prompt you with a bug template to fill in. It's important to list your packs (or the ones you don't have if you have most of them) so they can replicate it. Also explain that you've already been through console troubleshooting.
There are issues with the mailbox with the Reaper Event and they are testing a fix that could be rolled out soon, in fact I think we can expect a few fixes for the event soon but there's a tip from EA to replace your mailbox with the "Ol' Rusty Mailbox". You can try that if you want to. The other bugs for the Reaper Event are here:
Hope this helps.
