My Sims 4 game on console won't update

So I play sims 4 on my Xbox one as I don't have a laptop that would be able to run it. Problem is, since a month ago, whenever it comes up with "game recently had an update, this will restart the game" and it gives you the option to pick yes or no. Well, I've been choosing that option, I've done it so many times by now and each time it restarts, no update. I still have the old loading screen from months ago and none of the new features from the updates. Help?
