The Sims 4's new update ruined my game.

Ever since this new update for Sims 4 came out i've been unable to continue my current game.            My sims and everything else are untouched as far as i can tell, i haven't had a single notification telling me that there was any corruption happening, i can still load into my current save but can't do anything. If i try to play any household i get kicked off  the game halfway through the loading screen and told to report an error.                                                                                                                                                                                  I can enter an old save, but most are so old that i would have to start all over again after playing for 1585 hours, so that would be a waste of all the time and effort i put in for this game.
