My sims game on the Xbox keeps showing the Island Living pack as uninstalled.
This has happened twice now with ONLY the island living pack. I own a disc that comes with the base game + island living. The pack was downloaded but the game says it’s not. I’ve uninstalled it to redownload but it won’t download.

Just to confirm, have you inserted the disc into your console? You'll need to keep the disk inserted for the DLC to appear.
If you have, and the issue persists, can you give the following steps a try after power cycling your console:
- Highlight The Sims on the dashboard
- Press the Menu button on the controller
- Select "Manage Games and Add-ons"
- You should see an option here to "Install" your DLC
