One of My Packs is Gone

I have two disk versions of the sims, one is the regular and the other is the bundled version of Cats and Dogs. I have recently bought one of the newer Xboxes to have access to the new games only available on them. I downloaded the sims 4 on there and went to play, but I kept getting notifications about how I was missing items when I would start a game. I went to look at my packs and cats & dogs said unowned. I then went to the manage my game and add-ons section for Xbox and it showed that cats & dogs was downloaded. I was going to uninstall and redownload cats & dogs on my xbox series s, but the pack completely disappeared after I hit uninstall. I’m heading back to my original Xbox to see if I still own it, and I am hoping that it can be fixed this way. Also this is not the account on which all of this is occurring, this is simply the easiest ea account for me to access currently.

    DLC purchased on a disk is only available to play and use if the disk is inserted into your console- this is why you're seeing Cats & Dogs available as owned in your older Xbox with the disk insterted. Since the Series S is a digital only console, a disk will not be compatible and you will not be able to access your disk version of this pack.

    To play on your Series S, you would need to purchase a digital version of Cats & Dogs instead.

  • I’m having the exact same issue with the exact same disk. Im planning on calling the ea help line today to find the issue.

    Hi @Libreouu & @999brooklynpolar

    Is the disk currently inserted into your console? For The Sims if you own DLC on disk, you need to have the disk inserted in order to access and play the content.

    I have it in my original Xbox, and upon checking the store I am able to redownload it. One my Xbox series S however it says that I must rebuy it and that it is not available by itself. It does not even say I own it on my Xbox series S.

    If you own the disk version, you would need to use the disk to access this pack- a disk version would not grant you a digital version of the pack as well.

    You are not understanding. I have two Xboxes, one can accept a disk, the other can not. Upon deleting the cats & dogs bundle on either Xbox, it will disappear. It will not appear in the manage addons section. On the one that can accept disks, it says I own it. On the one that does not it says I do not own it. This is the only game I have this problem with, on my newer Xbox it doesn’t say I have the sims 4 and cats & dogs bundle either.

    @Libreouu

    Cats and Dogs in the Xbox Store is currently only available in a bundle with My First Pets Stuff, however the cost of this bundle is the same as purchasing Cats and Dogs DLC on it's own. If you purchase the bundle digitally, you will automatically get My First Pets Stuff in addition to Cats and Dogs.

    @EA_Solaire I don’t require nor want that, in fact I’d rather if what I owned was shown to be owned by me.
