Only 1 teen getting the high school tasks bar

Both the discussions I have found on this topic have been archived/closed as if they have been fixed and they haven’t. A year later. I have 5 teens currently (last generation I had 3) and when you follow them all to high school only one gets the task bar. It makes this feature of the pack unplayable and no point following them there. Then when the school day ends, only the one with the taskbar can leave the others still have the briefcase icon leaving them stuck there. 

This is on console (Xbox Series X) so no mods or cc is used. I have every single dlc. There’s been many patches and updates on this game in the last year it’s disappointing this has still not been addressed.
