Sims 4 (PS4] Cats and dogs dlc disc bundle has stopped working

I have played this disc this morning with all my digital downloads working as well as the disc bundled cats and dogs, now cats and dogs is no longer working and I don't know why.

I've looked at my installed dlc and it's says cats and dogs is installed but when I load the game it says its not owned.

What's happened?

    Please try the following steps to clear this issue up:

    1. Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on. 

    2. Restore your licenses with the steps here. 

    3. Make sure your game is up to date. 

    • Go to the PlayStation home screen. 
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
    • Restart the Console completely.

    4.  Make sure your console system software is up to date. 

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
    • Reboot your PlayStation.

    One reminder is that PlayStation updated a feature. You can play a digital copy of a game on your PlayStation you own the disk for. The catch is C&D is only on the disk. For example I have the FREE digital copy of sims 4 but still need the disk in my ps5 to run the DLC C&D.

    The resolution you keep providing does not work. I have restored license, uninstalled and reinstalled, Iuse the disc when playing and NOTHING WORKS. I cannot play with the Cats and Dogs. Has this issue be resolved at all?

    I’m having the same issue. I assume something happened when Sims 4 became a free base game. That’s when I started having issues with it. Can we get a fix for this please?!
