Parents can't grant permission to Gallery?!?!?

Okay, so after a few phone calls to EA Support, I am being told there is absolutely NO way for me as a parent to grant permissions to my daughters account to be able to access online features like the Sim Online Gallery.....  I am seriously disappointed in this.  There is no reason that I should be prevented from granting these permissions to my 11 year old without having to create an entirely new Xbox ID (email account) that is over 13 just to allow her this access.  The whole purpose of her having a child account within Microsoft is so that I can monitor usage, and limit access as needed.

It's pretty idiotic that I can alter the Xbox settings or give permissions to allow my kids to be able to play games, but EA doesn't even give parents the option?!?!

As someone that has loved Sim's games for many years, and has two daughters that are just as eager to play, I really think you guys need to do something about this to give parents the ability to grant online permissions to a child account under our adult profile.

I will also add that I find it extremely annoying that I have no way of viewing my daughters EA account under my adult one at this time.  I was given the impression that the only way to do this was supposedly through the actual Origin app, but I do not have a Mac or PC to run it on.  Talk about utterly annoying and frustrating.

There is literally NO option to do anything.  I can’t force age up her account with EA, and they only way to work around it from what I’m gathering is to either age up her Microsoft XBOX account to at least 13 so that theoretically EA/Origin would see it and hopefully push through the “age up your account” notification, or I would have to create an entirely NEW account that has a DOB to reflect someone at least 13.

That’s insane that parents either have to create an account with a false age, or we are unable to grant these permissions for our child.

@Wyattsmama2008 I've merged your posts together to keep all the information in one place.

The age restriction for the gallery is 13. While it may seem ridiculous that you can't decide for your child, the game is rated Teen and all interactions are set for Teen and above, including the gallery content.

The online gallery just came to console in January, so many of us went without since Sims 4 was released on console in 2017.

Many building tutorials are available for examples on how to make creations, and while your child is unable to simply download new houses, it can be fun for them to play with building and see what kind of masterpieces they can create on their own.

I can direct you to some helpful websites if you'd like for your child to browse.
