Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I’ve been playing Sims on PS4 for nearly two years now and rarely had any issues. But since the patch around bunk beds time (I’m not certain on the exact date) I’ve been having constant crashes. Error code is CE-34878-0 but I’ve looked online and all my systems and game are up to date and patches haven’t made a difference except more frequent, friend suggested my lot was too full and I’ve since been trying to remove items to minimise the strain on system but nothing has reduced it. It’s getting to the point where I’ll try and play for a couple of hours and experience multiple crashes, today my total is 8 crashes. I’ve been on the same sim day since May 4th despite me trying to play most days because the crashes keep happening and constantly losing data because it either crashes as I’m thinking ‘I need to save this’ or as it is in the process of saving. There is nothing new on my console that would suggest it was an issue beyond the Sims 4 game. Im at a complete loss of how to fix this, especially when I’m in the process of removing items and it crashes again. Attached a photo of the error code as that’s the only example I have of the problem. Thank you!
