[PS4/XB1] Updating Graphics Settings Message

So, I play on xbox one, and recently my game gave me a pop up screen that says "adjusting your graphics so you can go back to enjoying the Sims 4" whenever I try to save and exit my game. 1 or 2 weeks ago, I was playing and I go to save my game but the option to save that specific save file wasn't there, like the save file didnt exist even though I was literally playing it. So then, I just pressed save new file so that I could still play my same households but it'd be in a new save file. I thought that was that and that it had been fixed. Today, I open my game and the save file isn't there, like at all. I'm so confused and I really want that save file back, I've had it for years and I did so much worldbuilding for each generation and I really dont wanna just start anew. I read some tips on how to fix it but nothing worked. Can somebody help or maybe tell me why/how something like this could've happened? Or if something similar happened to you?
