(PS5) Can't Continue Using this Game or App. Data is Corrupted.

I launched the Sims 4 ps4 version on my PS5 on February 15th, 2025 and have received the message, "Can't continue using this game or app. Data is corrupted. Delete it from your PS5, and then download it again from your library."

 

I have tried the following:

  1. deleting and reinstalling the app
  2. deleting all save files/caches
  3. Restart & shut off the console after reinstalls
  4. Safe mode 
  5. Rebuilding PS5s database
  6. Factor resetting PS5 & reinstalling

    Having the same problem. The last 4 games I’ve tried downloading all say the same thing. Data corrupted. I can download the game if I sit there and keep resuming when it messes up. Happened outta no where. I’ve done everything but factory reset because I don’t want to lose my stuff but I might have to. Or play the same 5 games for forever.
