[PS5] Game State/Data Persistence Issue Since Update (08/19/25)
Player ID : Ali_180112
Platform: PS5
Description of the Issue
Since the major update released on August 19, 2025 (the one introducing the Pack Selection feature), my game on PS5 fails to retain the current status of my progress and license acceptances. The game consistently acts as if it is the very first time I am launching it after the update.
Steps to Reproduce the Bug
Launch The Sims 4 on PS5.
The EA User Agreement (EULA) is displayed and must be accepted every single time the game is launched (it is not saving the acceptance).
Once on the Main Menu, the information banner constantly displays the "New Delivery" notification related to the 08/19/25 update (the news feed is not updating to current information).
Upon loading an existing save file, I repeatedly receive numerous introduction/tutorial pop-up messages and advertisements for Expansion Packs that I have owned and used for a long time.
This cycle repeats itself upon every subsequent game launch.
Temporary Resolution/Workaround
On one occasion, after purchasing and installing a new Stuff Pack, the game launched normally (without the EULA prompt, showing current news, and without the pack pop-ups). However, the issue returned as soon as I quit and relaunched the game.
Impact
This bug prevents the game from correctly connecting to or saving the most recent player state and preferences, forcing me to accept the license and skip introductory pop-ups at the start of every session.
