Re: [Fixed 1.31][PS4] Crashing during travel, save the game, in build mode

@Krazychick002  Let's start with just some basic steps.

1. Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.

You can turn off your PS4 system in any of these ways.

  • Select (Power) from the function screen, and then select [Turn Off PS4].
  • Select [Power] > [Turn Off PS4] on the quick menu.
  • Press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).

When you turn off your system, the display darkens, the power indicator blinks white, and then turns off. Turn your system back on.

2. Make sure your game is up to date.

  • Go to the PlayStation home screen.
  • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
  • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
  • Restart the Console completely.

3. Make sure your Console system software is up to date

  • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
  • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
  • Reboot your PlayStation 4.

@Krazychick002  You said the crash was just happening while playing normal? Or Did you travel and crash, use the CAS (Change sim, plan outfits) from the dresser or mirror, or enter/exit build mode and the game crashed?

@Krazychick002  The next thing to do is to completely uninstall the game and all packs, shut your system down. Turn the PS4 back on, then reinstall your games from the library > Purchases folder.

     Uninstall and Reinstall the Game.

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.

    • Select a game or application.

    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.

    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

@Krazychick002  Anything purchased on your account will still be there when you sign into your profile. If you downloaded parts of the game from another profile on your PS4, you will have to switch to that profile on your PS4 to download.

Otherwise, your game and packs should not be affected on your account.

@PoptartJuniper Hi, my sims is doing the same. I’ve got all the packs, done all the suggestions, updated, deleted everything, reinstalled, safe mode, check of auto save, boost, I’ve done this 7 times and eveytime I get 10mins -1hr of game play, I’ve notice it crashes when going from build mode to live play and screen turns black then blue to report error. What else can be done?

Back in December or January I deleted my AutoSave file and the crashing stopped for a couple of days, but then started up again. Since then I have repeatedly deleted my AutoSave file and it still crashes the very next time I play. That doesn’t fix it.
