I found the solution on my own.
SOLUTION:
Delete the whole goddamn game from the PS4, wait another four hours while the 15 GB is download and reinstalled. I got my tiki bar back, and have a new bitterness in my mouth for Electronic Arts games, which I will never buy again. I have never had the slightest problem with an indie game, and I'd much rather support a crew of responsive, caring people than these mega-game corporations.
