I have recently pre-ordered sims 4 on my PS4 and the cheats that are said are working aren’t working in the game

To activate cheats on PS4 in The Sims 4 follow these steps: Launch the game and go to Live Mode Press R1, R2, L1 and L2 at the same time and you should see a text window Press X to open the virtual keyboard Write "testingcheats" true and accept it. A message should be displayed in that window: "Cheats are enabled" Enter the cheat code The Sims 4 money cheat codes are: Kaching (1,000 simoleons) Motherlode (50,000 simoleons)

To type in cheats you need to first bring up the cheat console. (hold both bumpers and then both triggers to bring up the 'cheat box') you then need to type in "testingcheats on" This will bring up a dialogue box stating that turning on cheats will disable achievements. Press Ok and then type in the cheat you are wanting. (motherlode for $50,000, kaching for $1000)

How are you entering the cheats? Make sure you type in “testingcheats true” (exactly how I typed it without the quotation marks) before entering any cheats. I know PS4 automatically puts spaces in between words so when I was entering cheats, my words were double spaced and the cheat wasn’t working and it took me a while to realize that my PS4 automatically added a space and then I added a space. Btw I went to this site http://simscommunity.info/sims-4-cheats/ and the cheats I get from this site seem to work so far. And another note, to shift-click hold O+X on PS4

Also I find entering “money [amount]” is an easier money cheat than motherlode and kaching. For example, you could enter “money 56782” and get that exact amount instead of spamming motherlode and kaching codes.

And yes I have entered “money 9999999” (the highest amount of money you can get) and gotten that exact amount (however that file didn’t save because they still haven’t fixed the save issue) but I did it again on my new file and it works. So if you’re a dedicated cheater like me, use it.

is it really "testingcheats true" on ps4? On xbox it's "testingcheats on" maybe both work.. I'll have to check.

BTW, you can only use money cheats in live mode (at least on PS4)

Hello. Many people have reported this problem. I would like to ask you a few questions. And I will give you the instructions...:
Have you done it correctly?
Have you pressed the following buttons: L1, L2, R1 and R2 on your controller at the same time?
If so, type in the box at the top left corner: testingcheats on. It will come up with an option making sure you are okay with this.
Then, if the cheat box is down, press the following buttons again: L1, L2, R1 and R2 on your controller at the same time. (If the box didn’t go down you don’t need to do this part).
Then type “motherlode” for 50,000 dollars. Typing “kaching” or “rosebud” will give you 1,000.

I have hit R1+R2,L1+L2 together. The box appears green I type in the command to turn on cheats but nothing happens

I keep doing testing cheats to activate them but it just sais cheats are disabled no matter how much i try
