    Hey all, 

    Quick update, if you're seeing issues that qualify more as a bug than feedback please check the Bug Report forum for threads and post there as well. You can absolutely post in this thread as well, but without a dedicated thread for a specific issue it's harder for our teams to get a feel of how widespread issues are for resource allocation purposes. 

    We have a post here that has most all of the currently known issues being tracked by the Sims team, if you don't see your specific issue on this list please create a thread for it and be as detailed as possible here so we can triage effectively.

I am on the xbox and to be honest I really do not like that fact you have changed the bumper buttons and the LT and RT in game play

I'm so used to pressing bumper to pause the game, I really can not understands why you keep changing our controls about its really annoying, you say its to improve game play but its not it just makes it a pain to play and having to learn the controls all over again, its like learning to drive on the other side of the road with a car that is not from your country. 

I also noticed you have not change the save button back to A its still RT which I can not understand why that was changed too.

I love the fact you have put the menu back to the way it was in the build mode being able to scroll up and down and not have to use the cursor and being able to close the menu again so we can see the whole build is wonderful so thank you for doing that.

I am looking forward to not having to keep selling my washing machines and rebuying them.

    Please can you revert having to press R2 to accept or confirm sometimes it R2 sometimes its x its confusing no other console game uses R2 to confirm

    I'm also finding this very frustrating. No need to change the controls if there's no problem with them. I'm really hoping they change it back to the way it was.

      I agree. The controls now is super frustrating especially when you try to take screenshots using the photo mode they definitely need to switch it back to the way it was.

        I have been using the Sims 4 on Xbox One for years, since its release. Now I use it on my Xbox Series S. I am not a fan of the new Layout. Don't get me wrong, I think it is okay. But a little confusing. I prefer the Original layout. Maybe you could give us the option to change button layouts in Options. For example, New Layout could be "Type A", and Original Layout "Type B". Many games give you the option to change. And you can keep both layouts, for long time users "Original Type B", and for New user "Type A". And for those who like to "Customize", maybe something along those lines in the future. Thank you for your time.

    @xAutumnAngelx Same! I hate it, I really do. Its so bad that I dont want to play the game anymore because the new controls annoys me so much.. Its so sad 😭

    Came to complain about this change.

    I liked it the way it was before where it was the opposite. It’s become confusing as well as difficult to play. It’s throwing me as well, I wish it could be an option to customize your control keys. But I truly do hope that this changes back and comes with no OTHER changes. 

    Just please EA, stick to the original controls that were placed when the game came out !! It’s super confusing and EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. Thank you.

        Hello to all. 

           I done multiple searches with multiple keywords before I posted anything, nothing even remotely close to what I was looking for came up. I don't know if this website is malfunctioning or its programming doesn't recognize the words I used. I guess it is another issue that I'm running into. I'm not sure, but your search engine gives me nothing, so I'm posting new topics, it is the only reason that I started a new topic. Help me?
