7 years agoThanks everyone for your feedback! I bring some news 🙂
If everything goes as planned, you will be able to play The Sims 4 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a keyboard and mouse next week! Next patch is currently scheduled for April 16th, which will include keyboard & mouse support 😉
A few extra notes from SimGuruLegacy:
- Initially, you will still need your controller for the "Press A/X to Start" screen. Once you have passed that screen you can go full mouse & keyboard.
- The Sims 3 camera will be available when using keyboard/mouse. That feature is not possible with a controller due to the complexity of the controls.
- You will be able to adjust mouse sensitivity or switch the mouse to left-handed on your console settings (not in-game):
- PlayStation 4: Settings > Devices > Mouse
- Xbox One: Settings > Kinect & devices > Mouse
