What specific drive are you using? A link to it online would be helpful.

  Thanks. That's a very slow drive which will be why your game is so slow. Either move the game back to the internal drive or invest in a much better drive. Here's a guide on what to buy - https://bluebellflora.com/2023/11/26/choosing-an-external-hard-drive-for-your-game/

    okay thank you so much! again just to make sure i wouldn’t have to redo the symlink, just uninstall my game and reinstall it on my internal drive?
