Hello! For about a month now, I have been unable to play with my script mods in game. With multiple attempts, I recently erased everything again and reinstalled my Sims 4 game and its packs onto my external hard drive (Western Digital My passport). Following prior directives, I created and successfully created a symbolic link where the EA folder shows in the external hard drive and a copy in my documents folder. My sims 4 game starts and plays with no issues. I reintroduced two script mods into my game (MC Command Center & XML injector) to see if the scripts mods would enable once options to enable custom content and mods were selected. It did not work. The script mods continued to show in the custom content area upon load up. I exited my game and applied a mods.txt file per Terminal, entered my game and scripts mods were enable and showed in game. I saved my game, exited and went back in to see that the error reproduced itself and continues to do so. Has anyone else had this issue before or know how to remedy it? I’ve had a case number opened as well. Thank you!
Did you correctly reformat the drive before moving the EA folder and creating the symlink?

Hello yes I reformatted the drive to APFS. I recently ran into an issue after posting screenshots below. My external hard drive is also missing under finder

You need to select the drive, not container but I doubt anything is wrong with your drive. The issue is more likely to be related to your Mods and/or file structure within the Mods folder. Remove your whole Mods folder, just stick it outside of the TS4 folder, launch the game then quit so a new one and new resource.cfg file is created then quit the game. Download one of your mods from the creator's website and put it in the new Mods folder. Launch the game and check whether the Mod loads.
Can you select "WD My Passport..." in Disk Utility and post a screenshot please? And the same for "Passport".
