Can you get mods if your "Sims" game exists on Origin?

Hello,  I live in Australia, and I downloaded The Sims 4 using Origin. I do not have an EA Games or Sims 4 folder anywhere on my MacBook Pro. My 'The Sims 4' exists within the Origin folder.  I wo...

Have you launched the game yet? The Electronic Arts and Sims 4 folder are created when you launch the game. Once launched go into the game options and enable CC/Mods then quit. Next time you launch the game the Mods folder will appear in the Sims 4 folder, this is where you put 3rd party content.
