Cannot start because the below file appears to be corrupted

Hello, I can't open my sims game because of a mod I had downloaded and I still can't open the game after : 1. removing from the mod folder and deleting the mod file from my computer completely 2....

There really is no need to uninstall and reinstall the game as the issue is most probably in your Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. Have you created a symlink to store the TS4 folder on an external drive?
