Crashing When Travelling

Almost every time I travel to a new lot, my game either crashes or freezes and I have to force quit. It's been doing this for about a week. So annoying!

Sims 4 not available for purchase on Mac

Bottom screen controls not appearing.
None of the controls at the bottom of the screen appear when I try to play a Sim; then when I try to exit and press the Manage Worlds button, the entire screen goes black. I tried repairing the game...
