Endless Loading screen after update

Mac user here. After the latest Sims 4 update, my game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen whenever I try to go to Manage Worlds. I have no mods or custom content, started with a brand-new Sims 4 folder, created a new save, repaired the game through the EA app, and restarted my Mac, but the issue still happens. I can play in a household and travel to other lots, but Manage Worlds loads forever. Is anyone else experiencing this or found a fix?
