I'm going to be brutally honest with you... that is a crazy amount of Mods and CC, absolutely crazy - but thanks for being so honest 😆 Your game is loading nearly half a terabyte of data every time you play, no wonder you're having issues, rendering all those objects when you move the camera around. But it's kind of a testament as to how amazing the ARM equipped Macs are though, that you can even get it to load with such a huge amount of data. It would be interesting to see if you have camera crashing on a completely empty lot in an empty world, no objects for the game to render.

A clean save not crashing is good. I wonder whether the camera causing crashing isn't actually a bug, more a symptom of an overstuffed save file. Could you upload your save for me to test in my game, the one that's crashing when using the camera? Or maybe upload the penthouse lot in San Myshuno you referenced in a previous post to the gallery and I'll download it and test.
Bluebellflora Ha! Fair enough. =D I did end up removing some package files from a food mod that I don't really use as well as a script mod that was not functioning as I had hoped from my Mods folder. It didn't really scratch the surface, but I will continue to remove things that aren't working the way I want or that I don't need or use often as I notice them overtime to declutter my Mods folder. I run my Mods folder like a well-oiled machine, it is super organized, but I understand that it is a lot.
I actually ended up using the tip from this post on game crashing suggesting to save a version of my save file, and it seemed to do that trick Sims crashes after newest update. I was able to play on two separate days for hours on end and it did not crash. Granted my game does lag quiet a bit or the reasons you mentioned, but I've gotten used to it. I was also playing with vertical sync turned on, so that may have helped as well.
I no longer have that old penthouse build, unfortunately. I probably deleted it thinking it was the cause of the crashing. How do I upload my save file for you? Is that through Google docs or something?
