Game crashing or not loading especially after updating? Post here.

So I'm having a probably starting up my sims 4. When I first opened my computer I was able to launch it but had to restart it due to my mods being disabled by an update. Now that I turned my mods back on every time I click play the application say "application not responding. I even tried removing the mods but even then it wouldn't start back up. Someone pls help I've been having this problem since march.
