Game crashing or not loading especially after updating? Post here.

On my Mac, whenever I go to open the game, it shows the opening (sims 4 logo) and then just stays on the dark blue/plumbob loading screen. I can’t even get to the main menu. 

I don’t have any mods, I’ve tried renaming / moving both the mods and Sims 4 folder. I’ve repaired the game. I’ve updated my Mac OS.
