I hadn't played my Sims 4 (on mac) for about three weeks. When I tried playing today, it required me to update the game to its latest version (as of Dec 6 2025). It would open up to the "Load Game" page. And every time I clicked on loading my game, it will just stay forever as loading, but will not let me get inside the game at all. It won't even let me quit it, I have to re-start my laptop every time. This keeps happening even when I removed my mods folder!
