hi, i’m on mac and the sims 4 has an inconsistent launch failure.when i press play in the EA app, the sims 4 icon appears in my dock but the game window does not open. macOS then labels the application as “not responding” and i have to force quit. i attempted a full 50/50 mod test. sometimes the game launches, but other times it fails to open even after removing the same mods that previously allowed it to start. because the behavior is inconsistent and happens even without mods, it does not appear to be caused by a specific mod file. this looks like the game process is starting but freezing during startup (before reaching the main menu) rather than crashing normally. i also force quit background processes and cleared cache files, but the issue persists. could anyone help troubleshoot a mac launch hang / window not spawning issue?
me tooooo im so irritated it keeps saying not responding I think its my tray files I don't even know and a lot of UI mods are outdated or not working. I have mod manager and it says a lot of UI mods are conflicting with the game.
