Game keeps crashing when trying to travel between lots

I have a wedding planned in the game and every time I try to travel to the venue the game crashes. I removed all mods and loaded the game again and it still kept crashing so it wasn't my mods or cc. I then restarted the game, got a new EA folder brand new and moved all my files over and the game still crashed. I also used the repair option in origin twice, and the game still continued to crash even after I restarted my computer. If anyone has any advice on a method I haven't tried, would be much appreciated!

    When you say "you got a new EA folder" do you mean you moved the Electronic Arts folder from Documents to another location and then launched the game so a new one was created, or something else?

    Thanks. You need to play a brand new save in that new clean Sims 4 folder, not move any of your previous content into it. This test whether the problem is your game installation or your Mac, or an issue in your user data folder.
