Game Not Opening. Stays on verifying Screen & verifies repeatedly

I started playing Sims 4 on an external hard drive for space. The game worked fine on my laptop so I thought I would move to my desktop. After I moved it, the game would refuse to open. I unistalled the game and reinstalled it. Now it stays on the verifying screen on both my desktop and my laptop. I have tried repairing the game, then launching -- nothing. I tried deleting the cache of the EA App -- nothing. Nothing I do seems to work. I have been scouring the internet for a solution and can find nothing. 

My Mac is a iMac 2021 with an Apple M1 chip. macOS is Tahoe 26.3. Anything would be a great help!
