Game not starting

My game has not been starting for about 2 days now. Im on a mac, M1 2020, and up to date, Sequoia 15.3. i do use mods, around 2000 files. I cleaned my mods folder right after the update and my game had started up fine, loading at an appropriate time and the game play had minimal glitches. I have most of the packs available for the game. I did recently download Spa day and Laundry day. After downloading these packs, my game is not starting. Orginally, my game would start with no mods in the folder. I would add mods slowly, but despite the mods (no matter how updated) My game would show "not responding" in the "force quit" menu and would either take up to 30 minutes to start or just not start at all (ive waited up to over an hour)  some mods will allow the game to start faster but it still says "not responding" every time. I just now tried to load the game with no mods and it wont even start, just says not responding. Ive repaired my game thousands of times. It doesnt seem to be my mods as the game wont start even without them. 

Plus, I had found the scarlets realm mod checker sheet, but it seems like finding all the links to my mods to import into the sheet would be harder than just starting the 50/50 method. If there is an easier way to do this I would love to know. 

I also saw something about redoing your entire sims 4 file through electronic arts byt Im very nervous to do this as im not sure how i would get it back. However, my sims 4 file seems to be full of stuff that I dont recgonize, such as wonderful whims logs and last exeption just in random files. Clearly Im not very techy and would love some help. I have no idea if this is a problem with the EA app, computer, the sims, or my mods. Please help if you have any tips :)
