Game version not updated after finished updating in Origin

Hi, I encountered a problem where even though I have updated my game to the latest version in Origin ( - or that's what Origin says), the game version still shows 1.66.139.1220 in the game folder. I ...

It really doesn't matter but you could trash the GameVersion file and see what the new one that is created says.

    Thank you very much for the reply! I have tried that method several times and the new file still shows the exact previous game version. I'm not sure why it is, and a little bit worried that a few mods might not support previous game versions with their updated ones.

        It shows the old version on the first page.
