help with mouse control and cheat box (mac) sims 4

I just switched from PC to Macbook (pro). When I play the sims 4 I can't open the cheat box, it only takes screenshots when I try and I cant rotate the screen around with my mouse. I tried searching...

    You can also hold down the CTRL key and use two finger click and hold to pan the camera around.

But like what is it that I want to change with the mouse to be able to change the view of the game with the scroller? And also I fixed the problem with the cheat bar thank you!

What scroller are you talking about? I use the < and > keys and CMD plus the up and down arrows to move the camera around with the Sims 3 camera controls.
