I think my Sims 4 save files are gone

Hi everyone, I know similar questions have been asked before but I'm not super tech savvy and I can't understand what to do from the advice on those posts 😬 Here's my problem described as detailed...

@Bluebellflora thanks for your reply! When I search in finder for the saves folder and highlight it this is the path it shows me: iCloud Drive > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves. If this isn't how it's supposed to be, how do I put it back in the right place?
