My game file is corrupted

I haven't played the Sims 4 in a while, so I decided to boot it up after updating it. Imagine my horror when I realized that my game files appeared to be corrupted.

My Sims are nowhere to be found and the bottom menu is glitched. I also cannot click on or interact with items. On the game menu, the Sim preview is a blank Sim.

I ran a test to see what was going on. I created a new game and put a Sim in a new lot, but then this popped up on my screen.

The Sim was deleted and nowhere to be found. It seems to be a saving and loading problem. This has spread across all my game files and I'm really freaking out because I spent years making these Sims and playing multiple legacies.

What is happening? Is my gameplay lost forever? What can I do to fix this?

It's really difficult to see those screenshots because the resolution is so small but it looks like you're using out of date Mods. Are you?

Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder? If the game now works properly with no error messages and proper UI try moving your saves back into the new Sims 4 > saves folder one by one, launching the game to test they work after adding each one. DO NOT save the game.

Forget your Mods for the moment, if you use them, this is testing your saves are salvageable.
